Universal Control Software TC-DC

TC-DC Introduction

TIRRON offers a LabVIEW based modular test station control software framework which consists of exchangeable and custom programmable modules. Modules, which are used to communicate to hardware, are called “drivers”; modules used for control, display and data storage are called “plugins”. The number of drivers and plugins are unlimited. Drivers and plugins are not compiled with the framework and can be exchanged for specific test station configurations. LabVIEW functions are used for data exchange between drivers and plugins. With these functions a customer can develop their own control, hardware driver or GUI and fully integrate it into TC-DC.

TC-DC Scripter

With the LabVIEW based Scripter and Script executer modules customers are able to program their own test sequences, called scripts. These scripts are programmed with easy to use pull down menues. There is no need for a CS professional to write or modify a script. The scripter was developed for test engineers or technicians with any back ground and allows to incorporate standard programming techniques, such as loops and case statements.

TC-DC Charts

In Charts the user can set up an unlimited number of real-time charts and X/Y graphs, displaying any test station parameter. Depending on the “Time Interval” data from the last 5000 h can be displayed. The user can configure the number of data series displayed in one chart and individually choose an update rate between 100 ms and 10 min for durability tests.
